Dell has just rolled out its revamped lineup of nine new Latitude and Precision business laptops based on Intel's new Centrino 2 platform. In addition to routine improvements like faster chips and more storage, the new notebooks come a few additional perks such as built-in encryption, fingerprint readers, back-lit keys and batteries that last for as much as 10 hours on a single charge.

Details on each model are too many to mention here but you can expect pretty much everything from a 15.4-inch high-end powerhouse, to a 12-inch ultra-mobile that weighs just 2.2 pounds to a semi-rugged laptop built to "military" standards. In terms of connectivity, these laptops offer Wireless N, Bluetooth, Ultra-wideband, mobile broadband, WiMAX and GPS options. The new notebooks will come in a variety of colors with prices ranging from around $840 to upwards of $2,500. Check out further details on the company's Direct2Dell blog.
