PSP firmware updated again
Sony announced a new PSP firmware update last week, yet the company has seen fit to ship a new version today to address an issue with large Memory Stick PRO Duos, whereby users downloading content from the PlayStation Store get an erroneous message telling them there’s not enough space to store new content.
The problem apparently occurs when using an 8GB or 16GB memory stick, although some people have reported getting the message using a smaller sized card than that. Firmware v.501 fixes this issue and is available now. So users can keep on complaining about the PSP 3000's screen interlacing issues, but not about the store not working properly.
