Last week Activision announced details on how to sign up for the multiplayer beta of the Call of Duty: World at War on the PC. Well, the installer is now ready to be downloaded onto your machine, so it seems gamers will have one more thing to be cheerful about besides the release of Fallout 3 today.

Similar to the Xbox Live beta, the PC version includes four playable factions (U.S. Marines, German Wehrmacht, Japanese Imperial Army, Russian Red Army factions) with four game types (Team Death Match, Free-For-All, Capture the Flag, and War), playable on three maps. Before downloading it, though, be sure to get your activation key here. The beta will end with the full release of the game next month.
