XFX goes Radeon with launch of HD 4000 series cards
Following a much-rumored announcement that XFX would be dropping its Nvidia exclusivity to manufacture ATI products as well, the company has unveiled its new lineup of Radeon HD-powered 4000 series graphics cards. Several cards have been officially listed, ranging from the HD 4350 and HD 4650 in both 1GB and 512MB versions, all the way to the HD 4870 clocked at 775MHz with 1GB of memory.

According to the available pictures, one of the two HD 4870 cards will be using the AMD reference cooler while the HD 4850 comes with a completely new cooler designed by XFX. The cards are expected to become available within the next week or two and will probably end up priced like similar cards from other vendors. Notably missing from the lineup, however, is the HD 4870 X2.
