If you've ever been a fan of the Wing Commander series, the Ultima series, System Shock or any other legendary game from Origin, you might be interested in a recent interview with the man behind the company: Richard Garriott. The eccentric former owner of (now EA's) Origin has hinted that he might be returning to the game industry.

Garriott talked about the closure of Tabula Rasa, which he worked on, and what future gaming ideas we might see come from him. Apparently still interested in expanding the Ultima universe, he hinted at perhaps continuing that storyline. He also talked about the future of MMOs, and whether or not he sees them as continuing to be as successful as many are today. The two-page interview is short, but definitely worth a read if you've ever been a fan of Garriott's work.
