Operation: Anchorage DLC for Fallout 3 goes live

By on
As expected, Bethesda has released the first piece of downloadable content for its popular Fallout 3 title. Dubbed Operation: Anchorage, the new DLC puts players inside an in-game simulation taking place before the apocalyptic burning of the world in which they must defend the Alaskan wilderness from Chinese Community invaders. Operation: Anchorage will include additional armor, weapons, and achievements, which can then be carried over into the main game.

There are 2 more episodes planned so far The Pitt and Broken Steel that will bring more adventures and features to the game, including the ability to continue playing after the final quest has been completed and a level cap increase to level 30. In the meantime, you can get this Xbox 360 and PC exclusive download for 800 Microsoft Points ($10). Check out GameDaily's hands-on review here.
