Skype isn't the only online service growing quite rapidly these days, with the biggest online DVD rental company also boasting impressive numbers. Netflix has continued to rake in customers, with a total that now exceeds 10 million subscribers. More than a half million of those signed up this year, representing a 6% growth in just over a month.

A significant portion of those are Xbox Live subscribers, with over one million people having downloaded the Xbox 360 Netflix client to date. Expansion of their online streaming service has played a big part in surge in customers, all of which has contributed to the company bringing in a considerable amount of profit.
