Crytek has just released an update for Crysis Wars, the multiplayer portion of its graphics-intensive PC first person shooter Crysis Warhead. This cumulative manual update, version 1.4, brings with it a handful of general fixes, including one related to a memory leak problem, along with several improvements for the game such as enhanced DirectX 9 support and a couple of balance adjustments.

The company also released the Mod SDK and Sandbox2 Editor for Crysis Wars, which will include all the necessary tools for fans to expand upon the game with user-generated content as they see fit. Modders will still need to install patch 1.4 first, since it comes with the in game support for mods and other important changes to the game. You can read more about the update and grab all the files directly from their site.
