Their specs are nearly identical, with the greatest difference showing in display size. The 1101HA features an 11.6” (1366x768) LED-backlit display with an Intel Atom Z520, whereas the 1005HA has a 10.1” (1024x600) panel with an Atom N270/N280. Other minor variations include the availability of Linux on the 1005HA as well as an optional .3 megapixel webcam and 3-cell battery.
Windows XP is available on both, and each houses 1GB of DDR2 RAM, a 160GB HDD, 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, VGA-out, three USB 2.0 ports, headphone/mic jacks, a card reader and a 6-cell battery options (63 or 48W/h). There was no talk of money in the press release, but it looks like the 1101HA’s asking price is about $550 and the 1005HA’s about $350.
