Free smartphones at Best Buy with new wireless accounts

So, you want to browse the Web and check your email on the run but don't want to lay down hundreds on a phone to do it? Best Buy is offering three smartphones for about as cheap as it gets: free. The catch, of course, is that you have to sign up for a new wireless account, but if you're planning on doing that anyway then there's no harm done.

Among them is the BlackBerry Curve 8330 via Sprint, which sells for about $750 without a contract. Available in colors "Inferno," Titanium," and red the Curve 8330 features a full QWERTY keyboard, a 2-megapixel camera, GPS, a media player, voice dialing and stereo Bluetooth.

Second up is AT&T's LG Vu CU920, which is regularly $350 sans contract. It supports AT&T's MEdiaFLO Live TV service and quad-band GSM/UMTS connectivity, and has a 3" touchscreen, a microSD slot, 2-megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, and is available in "Red Wine," or black.

Finally, Best Buy is giving away the LG enV3 VX9200 for free with a Verizon Wireless account. With an MSRP of $370, it features a flip-up QWERTY keyboard, stereo Bluetooth, a music player, a 3-megapixel camera/camcorder, a 2.6" display and is available in "Slate Blue" or maroon.
