In a follow up to my earlier story posted here
, Jon Johansen, author of the DeCSS software (which can be used to remove the encryption from DVDs) has now been acquitted on all charges by the Norwegian Supreme Court.
Its a complete victory for Johansen on all counts, with "the Oslo court ruling that Johansen did nothing wrong when he helped cracked the code on a DVD that was his own personal property."
Round two for the goodies, I'd say!
