That history of the iPod article was great, I remember all of those iPods except for the very first one.

hello ...

i'm not a big fan of the iPod, but found the article interesting indeed. If by some way i can get an iPad for free will be happy, or just a 64Gb ipod LOL...

Ipod has really gone cooler and cooler... It's only that it requires itunes to have the mp3's played on the gadget's player...

Doesn't require it, lots of apps including Winamp work with iPods now.

Also you could put Rockbox on it and get flac support.
