Illegal Music Sites Here To Stay

Nothing more than a snippet here from deviantpc.com, but interesting enough to mention. Its little more than a statement:

"Our aim is not to completely eliminate music piracy or illegal peer-to-peer services altogether, as long as it is within a reasonable amount of control then we will be happy but we are still a long way from that." said Mr Sherman

P2P is here to stay. In the RIAA's eyes, as with everything, it can't be that bad in moderation.
"

I've always figured that now the cat is out of the bag, there is no going back. You can't uninvent something. There can be an many court cases as grains of sand but the technology will remain and the desire for users to have such a service will remain.

From here.
