Coverage from Comdex in Sweden

I've visited Comdex here in Sweden today, it was a great event with quite a few participants. Microsoft had the biggest presentation with an enormous booth (my digicam can't handle that big pics ;))

But amongst all the participants I visited, Nvidia had the most impressive product (as you can imagine):

How would you like getting your hands on such a card?
The Geforce FX card shown above takes two slots on your case and requires an extra power connector to work. And it will set you back $600 when it goes to retail sometime in February according to Nvidia (though we have already been hearing of cheaper pre-order prices).

I'd like to thank Andrew Humber, the European PR Manager for giving me time to take pictures of the card and seeing it in action.

some of the 3Dlabs wildcard cards are like that: take up two slots, need extra power, etc.

ABit's OTES does pretty much the same thing, takes up two expansion slots, vents the air through copper fins...can I smell mimification? They look identical! nVidia must like copying :stickout:
