Well if that is how Intel wants to treat the costumers that just gave them the majority market share back in processors last year, I'm sure they are willing to go back to AMD.

i think this is actually sort of cool for people who have the extra funds and would like a little boost from their new hardware. of course i'd be against it if there's no way to unlock it yourself like with some of the AMD processors--therefore i think it would be a convenient option to have if you don't like to overclock your own hardware.
