Weekend game deals: L4D2 for $6.80, 50% off F.E.A.R. bundle
With F.E.A.R. 3 poised for launch next Tuesday, Steam is offering a collection pack with the first and second installments along with their downloadable content for $9.99. Valve's store is also serving up a 66% discount on Left 4 Dead 2, which we'll be playing later tonight as part of our Friday Night Fragfest. Meanwhile, Impulse has cut 50% off NFS: Hot Pursuit, Direct2Drive has The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena for $9.95, and Good Old Games is hyping its summer "staycation" sale, which kicks off next Monday.

The Chronicles of Riddick is a surprisingly good game. Also recommend Defense Grid Gold for less than 5 bucks. That's an extremely entertaining tower defense game. I've logged in over 40 hours with it. And the noobs will be running amok with that L4D2 sale. |
