PC prices rocking to the bottom

According to new data from NPD Techworld, PC prices hit all-time lows during last February. While notebooks sales saw a very healthy 23% increase, desktop PC sales declined by 9%, somewhat of a trend we have seen in the past year, as notebooks have started to take a lot of attention.

This shouldn't come as bad news however. Desktop PCs have been getting more and more affordable up to the point we can get very powerful machines for ~$1500 or more basic setups for 500 dollars less. You can read the rest @ ZDNet.
