Hulu has introduced a new website layout with an emphasis on locating and launching your favorite shows as quickly as possible. The redesigned site began rolling out to customers last night and was detailed in a recent blog post by VP of Product Rob Wong.

Wong says that the Hulu team kept two things in mind while working on the new layout: making it easier to find the best TV moments on your computer and surrounding those moments with a beautiful and elegant video experience.

The first step was to implement larger and more vivid artwork from last night's TV episodes and new additions to the site. There's also a new tray-style format that Wong says will make it easier to browse titles and find new content.

Members will likely appreciate the highlighted "Shows You watch" section, a quick-link to programming you're already invested in. The homepage now shows the most popular episodes from the past week as well as recommendations based on other clips you've watched, similar to Netflix and Amazon's video offering.

If you need even more suggestions to help find something interesting, "Staff Picks" are now scattered across the site. These titles have been hand-picked by the Hulu staff and include a selection of travel shows as well as the staff's favorite SNL presidential impressions.

The rollout is expected to be complete within the next several days although if you can't wait, simply visit new.hulu.com to access the new design right away.
