PornHub has issued a report detailing its visitors' browser distribution per platform. According to the porn aggregator, Safari was the top phone and tablet browser, while Chrome was the leading browser for the desktop.
"Over the past year, Pornhub has seen a major shift in the types of traffic coming to our site", the website said."Desktop computers are still a stand up choice, but it seems that more and more people like to tap and fap".
PornHub boasts 38 million daily viewers in total. Among smartphone users, more than 38% employed Safari, while Android's browser came a close second with nearly 30%. Google's mobile Chrome browser had an 18% share.
For tablets, a whopping 73% went to Safari, while Chrome came in a distant second at just 13%, followed by Android browser at 8% and Amazon Silk at 5%.
In desktops, Google's Chrome web browser led the charge with nearly 45% market share, followed by Internet Explorer and Firefox with 23% and 20%, respectively. More than half of Internet Explorer users coming to PornHub were on the latest version, followed by version 10 with 17.5% share. IE 9 and IE 8 each bring just over 14% of visitors, while version 7 and 6 account for a combined 2.5% of the site's traffic.
The report also revealed that Chrome and Firefox users are most likely to search for "mom" videos, while Safari and Internet Explorer users prefer "massage" and "Japanese" videos, respectively.
