I would say this is the opposite scenario to that seen in the US (see our MS & Army post below), The Reg reports Australian open source advocates are gearing up a two-pronged attack against proprietary software, and their actions have caught Microsoft's attention.
A similar issue has been raised in other places around the globe, Europe and South America I would say are great candidates as is Australia.
