AMD has released a new set of Catalyst beta drivers today, bringing the latest optimizations for Ashes of the Singularity to the company's Radeon graphics cards.

The Catalyst 15.10 beta drivers primarily focus on optimizations for Ashes of the Singularity, which is set to launch through Steam's Early Access program on October 22nd. These drivers provide performance optimizations and fixes for several issues, including one where the driver would crash while playing the game in DirectX 12 mode.

As for other fixes, the Catalyst 15.10 drivers now allows gamers to play Star Wars Battlefront on high-performance GPUs in systems with switchable graphics. AMD has also taken some steps to address Grand Theft Auto V crashes on Radeon R9 390X graphics cards, although they will continue to monitor the issue in case it re-occurs.

If you're system currently includes an AMD graphics card, you should go ahead and download these new drivers right now, or let the Catalyst Control Center perform an automatic update for you.
