The final episode of MythBusters aired in March of this year but for many fans, the series died in August 2014 when it was revealed that longtime cast members Kari Byron, Tory Belleci and Grant Imahara - affectionately known as the Build Team - would be leaving the show.

After learning this past March that Science Channel was reviving the program as a reality show to search for new hosts, we've now learned that the Build Team trio is working on a brand new show that'll air exclusively on Netflix.

White Rabbit Project, as the show is being called, was announced during a recent panel at Dragon Con. According to Deadline, the series will see the three "head down the rabbit hole" to investigate weird and wonderful events emanating from history, pop culture and science. Examples of topics they'll cover include superpower technology, heists, jailbreaks and World War II weaponry, among others.

John Luscombe, Ryan Senter and Martyn Ives from Beyond Productions (the same firm that produced MythBusters) will serve as executive producers.

News of the new series shouldn't come as a surprise to those that keep close tabs on the Build Team via social media. Back in May, all three members mentioned they were back together and filming (of course, they didn't disclose what they were filming for).

Look for White Rabbit Project to debut on Netflix beginning December 9.
