It's Comdex Week

A revamped Comdex show floor opens today putting an emphasis on business, though quite different from the gadget galore seen in the past few years, it'd seem the show is making a strong comeback despite the smaller number of attendees. IBM and Dell are some of the names that are making a comeback to the show this year.

And so, expect a good number of announcements being made during the next few days, in fact Dell has presented already a new line of inkjet printers and a new 30-inch LCD monitor that will sell for $3,299, plus a 23-inch model planned for a year-end release.

HP is also in the news, they plan to offer a new Presario 8000Z desktop equipped with AMD's Athlon 64 3200+ processor, making it the first major PC maker to offer the 64-bit capable chip in the United States.
