Very compact and light-weight; Easy to use; Optical viewfinder; Ergonomic; 720p HD movie capture; Decent image quality
Inexpensive; offers good features; good photo and video quality.
The Canon PowerShot A3300 IS has a nice feature set for the money as well as excellent photo quality.

Cons

No image stabilization; Colours look a bit dull; Slow performance; No optical zoom in movie capture
Slow shooting performance.
No image stabilisation, Poor high ISO performance, No AV cable included for TV viewing.
The camera has long shot-to-shot times and its flat buttons can be tricky to press.
