Pros

Versatile 21x optical zoom lens, 25mm wide angle.
Alternate zoom toggle on side of lens barrel.
Fast autofocus.
Fast prefocused shutter lag.
Low ISO images are good for prints up to 16x20 inches.
Smile timer and Pet portrait work well for snapshots.
AA batteries for power.
Simple operation at a reasonable price.
720p video with optical zoom and stereo sound.
Excellent macro performance.
Built-in vibration reduction.
Excellent 3inch screen, 921k pixels.

Cons

Bright exposures tend to blow out highlights.
Soft video.
Electronic VR doesn't work well at long focal lengths.
Autofocus isn't very reliable at full telephoto.
Autofocus struggles when zooming in on subjects in video mode.
Mediocre photo quality above ISO 200.
Slow continuous shooting.
Doesn't feature built in panoramic stitching.
