Great rich sound.
Crisp bass response without distortion or washiness.
Padded headband and big enough to cover your whole ear to keep outside sound out.
Solid build quality and coiled cable.
Price - $74 easily beats out many headphones.
Somewhat larger than most headphones.
They’re moderately bulky for portable audio.
Ear padding is comfortable.
But can tear or fray with extended use.
External wires sometimes get twisted and tangled in the foldable design.
Plug is too fat to fit some devices like my phone with the case on.

They may be close to 30 years old, but the comfortable fitting Sony MDR-V6s are arguably the best-sounding headphones for under $100.88

Very minor design quirks, but you're really not going to get something better than this for under a hundred or even $150.95

These Sony MDR-V6 headphones have impressed me for decades. They sound and feel great, have magnificent deep bass, have plenty of sensitivity so they never need external amplification, and fold-up for travel. For about $100, they are a steal.90

Awesome sound that's great for drowning out the world for only about $100. Good enough to use in studio settings for tracking and mixing. These provide great isolation from outside sounds and beautiful clarity in the audio....90
