Pros

Beautiful artistic style.
Varied stages offer unexpected challenges.
Lots of weapons and other unlockables.
Numerous ways to customize your character and your experience.
Fun narrative concept.
Great art direction.
An armory of engaging weapons with a well-implemented upgrade mechanic.

Cons

Leaderboard requirements are needlessly obtuse.
The actual driving plot isn't terribly interesting once it gets rolling.
Not a whole lot to bring you back once you beat it.
