Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 - Vengeance
Maps are fun and action-packed.
Uplink looks lovely.
Detour is genuinely good.
Cove and Rush are both perfectly competent maps.
Buried has some nice ideas.
No real standout maps.
Zombie map isn't all that.
Uplink/Summit feels very much like scraping the barrel.
Zombies mode continues to seem less interesting with every new map.

There's only one pack left, and after its release, I'll be able to decided whether or not to recommend picking up the rather expensive Season Pass. But for now, it's probably best to hold off or just buy the Uprising pack, because Treyarch really isn't making them like they used to.70

All told then, Vengeance offers one great map, two really good maps, one decent map and more Zombies stuff for the players who still understand what Zombies is about. That's enough to call it a win, but it'll be interesting to see if the formula holds once Ghosts is out.80

Not one of Call Of Duty’s better map packs, but there are still some highlights and plenty to keep fans playing for just a few more months.60

People with season passes get it free, so obviously if you plumped for that, fire away, but otherwise it's a lot of money. You could get a few fun Xbox Live arcade games for what this costs, or nip out for a nice pub lunch.60

I really wish that I had more positive things to say about the multiplayer pack. No one loves a round of Call of Duty more than I do, but these maps feel like filler. However, if you're a fan of the zombie side of Treyarch's titles, Vengeance is definitely worth the price of admission.76

Overall, the Vengeance DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops II is a nice map pack, one that we have been lacking. Don’t get me wrong the previous one was good, but this one obviously takes the cake. I happily recommend this DLC for anyone wanting to go further in the zombie mode story, or just to kick some ass on multiplayer.80

While it’s easy to recommend Uprising as the only pack that you’ll really need, it’s still a bit difficult to recommend dropping quite a bit of cash for the season pass. But once that final DLC pack rolls around, that decision will be easier to make.60
