Satiates your inner accountant, Diverse commander abilities, Big empires and big mustaches.
Deep, satisfying naval combat, I got to be a captain!, Trade system is easy to jump into.
Competing for control over India with other European nations is a blast. Diplomatic system is well worth exploring.

Cons

Tactical combat wont float your boat, Multiplayer campaign lost at sea, Combat autoresolve favors the AI.
Loading is an issue, Title is far too focused, Little issues pull you out of the fun
Patience is a virtue in the game's lengthy sea battles.
