The Sims 4

The Sims 4 for consoles would be as fun and addictive as the PC version if not for serious save, performance, and UI bugs.

there were a few complaints about The Sims 4, as a veteran player myself. I got super attached to having so many options, I guess I was spoiled, in a way.

More simple to play than previous versions, but with a better simulation at its core.

Each new career is entertaining in its own way, but you probably wont want to play through them more than once.

Alright: May be slightly above average or simply inoffensive. Fans of the genre should enjoy them a bit, but a fair few will be left unfulfilled....

The Sims 4 still doesn’t simulate a community in the same way games like Dwarf Fortress and Crusader Kings do, and I really feel that by now, it should. Life is full of stories, and it’s about time the Sims started telling them, instead of merely showing how quickly and meaninglessly time can pass you by.

It's not a bad game by any means, and this is still the same experience that Sims lovers will take to in droves, but the whiff of missed opportunity hangs dense in the air, like smoke from a bachelorette kitchen.
