Cry Wolf serves as a satisfying conclusion to The Wolf Among Us, delivering on all the promise that previous episodes held. Telltale’s original characters and plot fit perfectly into Bill Willingham’s brilliant world, and every Fables fan will be satisfied with this expansion of the series’ lore. I am absolutely happy with how this season turned out, and I absolutely can’t wait to see where Telltale takes things next.

A game that doesn't immediately reveal its true nature, instead having the courage to let it slowly unfurl over the course of nine months. Even now that I think I've seen all The Wolf Among Us is capable of, I'm sincerely hopeful that Telltale gets a chance to defy that expectation.

Telltale got me invested and I want more - I even fear a little that the comics will disappoint me, because it won’t be my Bigby in the story. Telltale’s greatest accomplishment is delivering a worthwhile entry into the Fables cannon, keeping true to the ideals without taking any liberties whatsoever. Even though many fans will already know how the characters end up, The Wolf Among Us manages to be gripping from start to finish – there’s just no real weak point, and Cry Wolf is a fittingly great ending to a fantastic series.

The Wolf Among Us has been consistently excellent from start to finish, and its final chapter, Cry Wolf, is the well-told end of this well-told story. We've seen Bigby struggle with his role as a community leader, and grown with him as he's stretched to understand his place in this new world. We've seen what sharp claws he has, but never regretted their presence. We've seen what big teeth he has, and backed away uneasily from his smile.
