Pros:

  • Inexpensive. No rainbow effect. Vertical and horizontal lens shift. Two HDMI connectors.
  • Affordable price, 1080p, great picture quality, HDMI and other inputs.
  • The Epson Home Cinema 8100 has a high contrast ratio and 1080p HD resolution.

Cons:

  • Doesn't handle either standard-definition or 1080i input particularly well. Not 3D-capable.
  • Itís a large projector; distance (throw) could be better. Black levels are good, but could be even better.
