The Logitech Harmony 650 packs a color screen and icons for both your favorite channels and for common commands, it supports more than 250,000 home entertainment devices from over 5,000 brands. Like all Harmony remotes, though, this model is programmable via a Mac or Windows PC and use activity-based commands to control your home audio and video systems.

The ergonomic shape feels as if the remote was molded to fit your hand perfectly.
Color LCD screen surrounded by five contextual buttons.
Web programmable via Windows or Mac PCs.
Excellent button layout and overall design.
Supports custom sequences/macros.
Affordable.
Easy setup.
LCD "wakes up" upon pickup.

Cons

Logitech should have allowed more than five devices to be programmed.
Requires Internet-connected PC to program.
Adding favorite channel icons is a bit more difficult than it should be.
An additional $20 gets you the step-up model rechargeable batteries.
Not rechargeable.
No RF features.
Not compatible with Bluetooth-based products.
