Pros

High-quality scans for prints and 35mm slides.
Fast, Can scan in batches.
Film scanner.
FARE3 technology, compact size.
EZ buttons.
USB 2.0.
Scans up to 11.7 inch documents.
Onboard button choices for easy conversion to PDF or send to email.
Comes with good suite of software, including Adobe Photoshop Elements.
LED light source largely eliminates warm-up time.

Cons

OCR is spotty at low resolution.
Relatively expensive.
Slide scanning not as good.
Expensive.
Large footprint.
So-so OCR at low resolutions.
Has trouble handling strips of film correctly.
