Pros:

  • Bright, vivid display. Outstanding battery life. Powerful dual-core CPU. Good camera. Truly innovative. Phone and laptop on a single data plan.
  • Great specs, nice screen and super battery life. Finger sensor is also something novel. The added docks are pure awesome.
  • Snappy performance; able to turn into a desktop/notebook device; qHD screen; fingerprint scanner.

Cons:

  • User interface can stutter. Uses FroYo not Gingerbread. Lapdock not all that fast.
  • Motoblur interface is not that great and slows down the phone. Camera could be better as well.

During the announcement at CES I thought the Atrix would be my next phone but I am now thankful that I got the chance to review this before I splashed the cash on it. The hardware, while "next-gen", is nowhere near the speed and quality of the...

For all its unique and clever stuff the Motorola Atrix doesn't quite hit the mark. The accessories add functionality, but they're expensive. The handset itself, despite some good features, failed to wow us. Perhaps Motorola needs to reconsider...

The Atrix is a worthy smartphone with plenty of cool features, but the Lapdock doesn't seem to be well-designed for a notebook. Still, if you're looking for a smartphone that doubles as a light computing device, this is it....

We've seen pretty much the whole kit (we made a video to prove it), but the most interesting part is the Atrix, which is arguably Motorola's best smartphone yet. Although the hardware doesn't have the same wow factor that you might get with...

Motorola's Atrix proves itself a powerful smartphone, but will be outbeaten by the superphones due out later in the summer. Its USP is the ability to use it as a laptop, but while this is a great idea, it is disappointing in its execution. If you...
