Great specs for the price; HTC Sense is a great user interface for a wide range of users. What's Bad: 3.6-inch display may be too small for some; Sprint's 4G speeds are often erratic. The Verdict: The EVO Shift 4G is a great addition to the EVO line
Solidly constructed, 4G Connectivity, Fantastic keyboard.
The HTC Evo Shift 4G has a solid design with a comfortable physical keyboard. The Android 2.2 smartphone is 4G capable and can be used as a mobile hot spot.
Large display, great keyboard, clear call audio, 4G data
Attractive blue design, Intuitive and useful HTC Sense software, Spacious backlit keyboard, Fast camera with 720p video recording, Fast 4G and 3G speeds
Solidly constructed, 4G Connectivity, Fantastic keyboard
Slideout QWERTY keyboard is a texter’s dream. Software is stable and fast. The sharp screen makes reading tiny text easy. Smaller form factor sits better in your jeans.
Responsive Android build. Attractive UI. Glass touch screen is sharp and bright. Excellent music and video playback. WiMAX 4G.

Lacks a front-facing camera and HDMI port.
Power button difficult to access, A bit thick, No HDMI or front-facing camera
Terrible photo & video capture, Lacks frontfacing camera for video chat
Keyboard is tough to operate singlehanded. One wimpy camera means no videoconferencing. Battery life is less than awesome. Puny 2GB microSD card is an affront to all that’s decent and wholesome.
Memory card slot is buried underneath the battery. Slightly stiff keyboard. You have to pay extra for 4G even if you can't use it.

The original EVO 4G made itself out to be a media lovers dream, but the lack of an HDMI-out port, a kickstand, and the change to a smaller screen make the EVO Shift 4G more of a business-centric device than anything. I was disappointed with the...
