Pros

Supports Apple, Windows, Linux, and multiple backup clients. It's small and runs quiet. Offers iSCSI, rsync, SNMP, and many other great features for small businesses.
Can back up to and from CIFS/SMB shares and rsync target, iSCSI target support, VMware and XenServer certified for NFS and iSCSI, Supports Apple Time Machine

Cons

Some advanced storage, services and networking are hard to use for small business owners who double as tech generalists. Expensive.
Not as fast as other Kirkwoodbased NASes, Some funkyness when browsing for network backup shares, No eSATA port, Drives not hotswappable
