Very simple in operation, Throughput is dependable on the cradle, Various storage sizes.
Lots of storage space, Easy to use, PC or Mac, Seems well made, Comes with easy to use backup software, Upgradeable and interchangeable interface
Upgradeable to faster storage standards, Good pricing, GoFlex TV: wide standard and service support, GoFlex Net: Pogoplug software, GoFlex Desk: 3TB, quiet.
The Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex Desk offers the highest capacity to date among single-volume external storage devices on the market. The drive comes in a flexible design that makes adding more connections/features a snap. It also has decent performance.
Price, Integration, Great Codec Support, Fast Interface, Everything Looks Great, Quick and Easy.
This drive is one of the most secure on the market.

Cons

Small base, Only comes with USB 2.0
GoFlex adapters are proprietary and expensive, GoFlex TV interface, features now very typical, GoFlex Desk's automated Windows backup app isn't free, 3TB needs a newer OS and firmware, or special support.
Out of the box, the Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex Desk has only a USB 2.0 connection; other connection adapters cost extra. The drive topples easily when used in the intended vertical position and it runs rather hot.
Bundled Memeo AutoSync software is 30 day trial, Only a 2 year warranty
I hope USB 3.0 is included and not an extra in Future Products
The included software doesn’t integrate well with Macs.
