Synology DiskStation DS2413+
The Synology DiskStation DS2413+ is the flagship model of the latest x13 Series. The DS2413+ features twelve hot-swappable drive bays, each with a pair of green activity lights. Above the bays are four more activity LEDs which indicate status, LAN1, LAN2, and alert. In the back there's a pair of 120mm fans, dual Gigabit LAN ports, four USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, a COM port and a VGA port. There is also a 3-pin power connector that attaches to a standard PC power plug.

It would be one thing to recommend the DS2413+ because of its unrivaled capacity, but we think it's one of the best quality NAS devices money can buy, in both hardware and software.
By TechSpot onThat model does lack the two USB 3.0 ports and the large amount of RAM, and particularly the USB 3.0 ports are very useful for when you need to transfer large amounts of data to external storage. The Synology DS2413+ doesn't always perform the best with a single network port, but when you use both it scores very well.
