Pros

Quick random access times and fast raw reads and writes.
Good sequential read and write.
Good seek performance.
1 TB of storage.
5 year warranty.
Best IOPS weve seen out of a spinning disk to date (non-hybrid).

Cons

Awkward middleground between SSD high price and HDD slow speeds.
Expensive; high price per GB ratio
HDDs generally struggle to match the thousands of IOPS capable of modern SSDs.
As good as it is, the VR just can't come close to Solid State.
