Benchmarks: ScienceMark 2.0


The Core 2 Duo E7200 does exceptionally well in this first batch of ScienceMark 2.0 test results, defeating all but the E8400 in the Primordia and Molecular Dynamics tests.


The E7200 was not as strong when looking at the ScienceMark 2.0 STREAM and BLAS/FLOPs results. The STREAM performance of the E7200 was slightly better than that of the Q6600 though the Q6600 was the slowest tested processor in this test. The BLAS/FLOPs results of the E7200 were average and this time it was the third slowest processor tested.
