Encoding Performance
The overclocked Core i3-6100 delivered an impressive 17% performance boost over its former self, rendering 225.3fps, just 2fps shy of the Core i5-4430.
The overclocked Core i3-6100 was able to outperform the overclocked FX-8320E in the second pass test, while it was still slower in the first pass test. Still, we are seeing around a 15% performance boost here.
The last encoding test uses Video Master Works and here the overclocked Core i3-6100 took just 789 seconds, a 14% improvement over its default configuration and slightly faster than the Core i5-4430.
