Gaming Performance

The Unreal Tournament 3 results look impressive, even if the GeForce GTX 280 is creating a bottleneck at 1920x1200. At 1280x1024 the Asus P6T Deluxe motherboard was significantly faster than the Rampage Extreme/Core 2 Quad Q6600 combo, delivering 25% more performance. Furthermore, the Core i7 920/Asus P6T Deluxe combo was 55% faster than the Phenom X4 configurations.

When testing with Enemy Territory: Quake Wars the Asus P6T Deluxe was 32% faster than the Rampage Extreme at 1920x1200. The P6T Deluxe also held similar performance gains over the Phenom X4 configurations.

When testing with Far Cry we saw an 11% margin favoring the Asus P6T Deluxe motherboard at 1920x1200 over the Rampage Extreme.
