Power Consumption
In terms of power consumption the Asus Crosshair III Formula was considerably better than the M3A79-T Deluxe, particularly when under load using 20% less power. In fact under full load the Crosshair III Formula used the least amount of power which was surprising.
At idle the Crosshair III wasn't as impressive, but still managed well.
