Benchmarks: Resident Evil 5
Resident Evil 5 fails to stress these high-end graphics cards, but we still used it for comparison purposes. Here the Radeon HD 5870 and GeForce GTX 480 delivered roughly the same level of performance. Give or take, we can't talk of any subtantial differences when looking at average frames per second or minimums.
On the second front, the Radeon HD 5850 outgun the GeForce GTX 470 with a 8fps advantage (average), while the minimum frame rate was 6fps greater. Both graphics cards were more than capable of delivering playable performance nonetheless.
