CPU Scaling - Core i7 9xx
This test is meant to show how much CPU speed can influence performance on this game. As you can see Core i7 owners will not need to overclock in order to get the most out of their high-end graphics card with the average frame rate locked at around 120fps regardless of frequency.
Now, because we have tested with the Radeon HD 5870 here which essentially eliminates any GPU bottleneck, especially at 1680x1050, this means slower graphics cards are unlikely to run into issues, even when paired with slower processors (within reason).
