Power Consumption

Power consumption figures are roughly the same across all three budget AM3 motherboards, with the idle consumption levels hovering between 98 and 104 watts.

Under load the lowest result was 195 watts from the Asrock 880GMH/USB3 and the highest was the 205 watts of the MSI 870A-G54. Considering the kind of performance we saw from the unlocked Phenom II X2 555, these consumption levels are very reasonable.
