Benchmarks: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops
When testing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 at 2560x1600, the GeForce GTX 580 was again slower than the Radeon HD 5970, this time by a 9% margin. However, it offered a healthy 23% boost over the GeForce GTX 480, and it decimated the Radeon HD 5870 by 53%.
We also tested with Activision's new Call of Duty: Black Ops and again found the GeForce GTX 580 to be 9% slower than the Radeon HD 5970. Meanwhile, Nvidia's latest card was 15% faster than the GTX 480 and 34% faster than the Radeon HD 5870.
