Benchmarks: Dirt 2, Battlefield Bad Company 2

Dirt 2 has a fantastic built-in benchmark tool that measures actual gameplay performance very accurately, so we closed Fraps for this title. The game was run in the DirectX 11 mode with 4xAA enabled and the best visual quality settings.

In Dirt 2 the GeForce GTX 570 saw an average of 98fps when using a 1920x1200 resolution. This meant that the new GeForce GTX 570 graphics card was 8% faster than the GTX 480 and a whopping 36% faster than the GTX 470. It was also just 15% slower than the GTX 580 while it was an incredible 40% faster than the Radeon HD 5870.

Battlefield Bad Company 2
Battlefield Bad Company 2 was tested using Fraps to record 60 seconds of gameplay from the level "Cold War". The game was tested using the best visual quality settings with 4xAA/16xAF enabled.

The GeForce GTX 570 performed well when testing with Battlefield Bad Company 2, rendering an average of 70fps at 1920x1200. This made it just 1% slower than the GeForce GTX 480 and 27% faster than the GTX 470. Moreover, the GeForce GTX 570 was just 17% slower than the mighty GTX 580, while it trumped the Radeon HD 5870 by a 6% margin.
