In a surprising turn of events, the G1.Sniper2 outperformed the Extreme4 by a fraction of a second in Excel 2010.

The standoff continued in our WinRAR compression tests, which saw the G1.Sniper2 and Z68 Extreme4 deliver exactly the same performance.

Gigabyte's latest contender regained its marginal two-tenths-of-a-second lead in our Adobe Photoshop CS5 radial blur test.
